thinkingpeople support people and organisations to develop a positive mindset to diversity and to see the value that diversity brings.
Through our work we explore our own identities and how we are all diverse in a multitude of ways. We look at the different life experiences people may have because of how they are different to others and also at how we respond to difference and commonality. This often includes examinations of prejudice, discrimination, harassment and victimisation. We also look at the much talked about language issues around diversity.
We want people to see their potential and their responsibilities in creating inclusive organisations and communities. We want people to feel empowered to become change-makers and we want to equip them to take on this role. We, therefore, link people up with internal and external sources of support, we share, explore and practice strategies in challenging prejudice and discrimination and we look at ways to make our own groups and organisations more diversity-aware and inclusive.
